When we design a logo, we start with an initial interview to establish some general guidelines. We start by getting a sense of what the business produces, who the customers will be, and what overall image and feel the brand needs to portray. We then produce several concept designs to explore different logo design ideas. From there, we take client feedback and work through a series of revisions until a final logo design is approved. The final logo package is created with several color variations and file formats, allowing the logo to be used in a wide variety of contexts. We also prepare a “logo blueprint” with a colophon identifying the main colors, fonts used, etc. This logo for Connecticut Builder Direct was designed for a website prototype.
